Dr Vincent Mhlanga – Board Chairman
                      
Dr Mhlanga, Chief Executive Officer, Swaziland Development Finance Corporation, was elected to the Board for the first time in May 2006. In August 2006 he was appointed the new Chairman of the Board, taking over from Mr Peter Madara.

Mr Oaitse M. Ramasedi - Deputy Board Chairman

Mr. Ramasedi, the Chief Executive Officer of National Development Bank of Botswana, has been a member of the board since March 2003, and was re-elected a member in May 2006 for another two years. In August 2006, he was appointed Deputy Chairman.

Mr Peete Molapo

Mr Molapo, the Chief Executive Officer of Lesotho National Development Corporation, was elected to the Board for the first time in November 2007, for a period of two years.

Ambassador Leonard Iipumbu

Ambassador Iipumbu, the Chief Executive Officer of agribank Namibia, was elected to the Board for the first time in November 2007, for a period of two years.

Mr Admassu Tadesse

Mr Tadesse, the Executive Manager for International Operations for the Development Bank of Southern Africa, was elected to the Board for the first time in November 2007, for a period of two years.

Mr William A.Mlaki

Mr Molapo, the Chief Executive Officer of Lesotho National Development Corporation, was elected to the Board for the first time in November 2007, for a period of two years.

Mr David Nuyoma – Ex-officio Member

Mr Nuyoma, the Chief Executive Officer of Development Bank of Namibia, was elected to the Board for the first time in May 2006, for a period of two years.

Mr Nuyoma is the SADC DFI Subcommittee Chairman.
